Alternative energy mutual funds have turned sharply lower over the past three months. Of the 14 MFs that the Roen Financial Report tracks, all but one are down for the quarter. Alternative Energy ETF ReturnsETFs are Widely Lower

Green ETFs are showing poor returns on both a three month and one year basis. ETFs on average are off -16.5% for the quarter, and -20.7% for the year. All ETFs are down over both time periods with the exception of one fund, iPath Global Carbon ETN (GRN).
